Artist Don Kilby has had a life long love affair with all things that roll on wheels. In addition to depicting the automobile with his paints, Don is equally at home is a shop getting his hands dirty restoring, repairing and rebuilding cars of distinction.
On the walls of his art gallery in the village of Clarksburg, Ontario, Don's auto themed artwork hangs amongst the landscapes and rural scenes he has become known for.
His chosen medium is acrylic paint on stretched canvas and he strives for a realistic look, with great attention to detail and proportion, that retains a painterly feel.
