Working as an illustrator for a Fortune 500 defense firm for 25 years, Tom Fritz turned to fine art in his spare time, primarily transportation painting. Since becoming a member of AFAS in 1995, he is a seven-time recipient of the Peter Helck Award, two-time winner of the Art Fitzpatrick Award, and has won numerous Athena Awards at the Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance. Since 2001, Fritz has been a licensed artist of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company and is the creator of the popular U.S. Postal Service’s 2013 Muscle Car Forever 5-stamp series. His artworks have been internationally published and can be found in many private, public, and corporate collections worldwide, including the U.S. Government (in the Pentagon), the Smithsonian Institute, the corporate offices of the AAA, the NHRA museum, General Motors, and Ford Motor Company. Fritz lives and works out of his studio near Thousand Oaks, California.
