In what is becoming a far too regular part of this column, it is with sadness that we ackowledge the recent passing of David Lord in November. Career highlights included being a founding member of the Automotive Fine Arts Society, having his artwork in numerous private and museum collections (the Blackhawk Museum in California and the Louwen Museum in Holland), and creating artwork for the program cover for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500. We will present a retrospective in an upcoming issue.***
We had planned a feature retropsective on AFAS member William A Motta for September which was then delayed to this December update issue. Unfortunately we've run into delays again and we hope to present it in March.***
